"I did your Introduction to Mindfulness course and your follow-up course. I found both courses very useful and would highly recommend them for anyone wanting to learn about mindfulness and apply it to problems of everyday life"

INTRODUCTION TO MINDFULNESS WORKSHOPS
Mindfulness works in every moment of life
Mindfulness works in ordinary ways - every day of your life
You may well have heard about mindfulness, but don't quite know what it's about. Or you may have already read some information, but you don't see how it might be of benefit to you, or you're not quite ready to take the plunge of following an 8-week MBSR/MBCT course. Like music or art, mindfulness is difficult to describe and best experienced directly. An Introduction to Mindfulness workshop is an ideal way of getting a taste of mindfulness "in the moment".
During the workshop you will be given more information on mindfulness. We will practice some simple mindfulness meditation and gentle mindful movement, with clear guidance from the teacher. We will also do a few basic exercises to experience mindfulness in daily life. We will also practice short mindfulness exercises which you will be able to do for yourself in your everyday life.
You can follow the Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop as stand-alone, or as an introduction before you decide whether to take part in an 8-week MBSR/MBCT course. We also offer the day-long Introductory Workshop "Mindfulness for Wellbeing", see below. To experience mindfulness at work, these workshops can be delivered or adapted to your organisation. Please contact me to discuss the possibilities of mindfulness for your workplace.
